Background
Jeff Laird grew up in Beaumont, Texas, graduating in 1984 from West Brook High School. He then attended Lamar University in Beaumont, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a minor in History in 1987. Following his lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer, he attended St. Mary’s University School of Law, graduating in 1991. Following his law school graduation and bar examination, Jeff began working for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
